How we got started

Founders Martin Pichlmair and Charlene Putney developed the beginnings of LAIKA while sitting across the home office table from each other during coronavirus lockdowns. Combining Martin’s programming and design knowhow with Charlene’s writing expertise and project management background - we found a niche just right for us, and added Riddhi Raj’s backend expertise with our first tranche of research funding.
