What is LAIKA?
LAIKA is a creativity tool that lets you collaborate with artificial intelligence by providing you with a writing partner you can interact with.
LAIKA can be trained using your own writing, or you can collaborate with writing masters like Dostoevsky or Agatha Christie. Each trained writing partner is a “brain” that you can choose to work with whenever you access LAIKA.
You can ask your writing partner to complete a sentence, answer a question, or inspire you in other ways by providing it with a piece of text or just a few words.
LAIKA is a tool, a toy, a partner in crime. Play around with it to find out what it has to offer you. Train a brain on your half-finished murder mystery. See what happens if you ask it who the murderer is! Train another one on religious texts and a handful of patents and have LAIKA invent spiritual machinery. Train a brain on your teenage diary and meet your former self. What you do with LAIKA is (mostly) up to you.
A word of warning, though: LAIKA can produce weird text, biased output, and outdated associations. It’s up to you as the writer to dig for the gold but you might find yourself confronted with some mud while doing so. We’re working hard at making a very good shovel but it’s not perfect yet because LAIKA learns from humans and humanity is not perfect.

What can I do with LAIKA?
You pick one of the brains or train your own using a text you provide. Then you write text and then ask LAIKA to complete a sentence or write the next sentence.
How can I get access?
We currently are in a closed alpha state. We plan to transition into a closed beta by end of June. Then we will start to let in users from the waiting list that you can register for on our landing page.
